Dr. Seymour grew up in Northern Virginia and is a proud Hokie, completing both her undergraduate studies and veterinary degree at Virginia Tech. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery before practicing in Charlotte, NC. She later returned to the DC region for a specialty internship in Oncology and went on to serve as an Oncology Hospitalist and Chief of Wellness Medicine at a busy specialty/general practice in Western Massachusetts.
Her professional interests include Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Dentistry. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, comprehensive care for her patients, while also supporting their families with clear communication and compassion. Her approach blends advanced medical knowledge with a focus on the individual needs of each pet, ensuring they receive not only excellent medicine but also a low-stress, positive experience during their visits.
Outside of work, Dr. Seymour enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and attempting to master French pastries. She and her husband share their home with two Golden Retrievers, Cady and Dahlia, and three cats—Newt, Mookie, and Benny.
